Job Description
We are seeking a reliable, customer-focused Office Services & Mailroom Associate to provide daily administrative and mailroom support on-site at Merchant & Gould. In this versatile role, you will oversee incoming and outgoing mail logistics, manage document processing, maintain conference spaces, and ensure smooth day-to-day office operations within a professional legal environment.
salary: $19 - $20 per hour

work hours: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM

Responsibilities
- Mail & Package Operations: Receive, sort, log, and distribute incoming mail, packages, and courier deliveries; process outgoing domestic and international shipments.
- Office & Floor Support: Perform scheduled floor walks to deliver mail and packages, maintain office supply stations, and ensure common work areas remain clean and organized.
- Conference Room & Hospitality Support: Assist with conference room set-ups/breakdowns, stock coffee and kitchen pantry areas, and ensure meeting spaces are client-ready.
- Print & Equipment Maintenance: Monitor convenience copiers and printers, clear basic paper jams, replenish toner cartridges, and report equipment service needs.
- Front Desk Backup: Provide occasional backup support at reception, greeting guests and answering multi-line phone calls as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements - Experience: 1+ years of experience in corporate office services, mailroom logistics, facilities support, or administrative hospitality (legal environment experience is a plus).
- Professionalism: strong communication skills, organizational ability, and a polished appearance matching traditional business casual standards.
- Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and digital mail/shipping tracking software.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift/move packages weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Interview Process: Requires a brief manager interview prior to start.
